Tesla Issues Recall on Select Powerwall 2 Batteries: What Homeowners Need to Know — and How AHSolar Can Help
Tesla has issued a safety recall on select Powerwall 2 home battery systems due to a manufacturing issue affecting certain battery cells.
Why Is Tesla Recalling Some Powerwall 2 Batteries?
The recall affects a limited number of Tesla Powerwall 2 units manufactured between November 2020 and June 2022. Tesla identified a potential issue with battery cells supplied by a third-party manufacturer. In rare cases, this issue could pose a safety risk.

-
The replacement is provided at no cost to the consumer
